Impressions after engine break-in
Re: Impressions after engine break-in

No, you won't be. Unless your comparing it to your Z06!
BTW... I know not all American V6s are pushrods, just the ones I have driven. Oh, and that Contour has a engine built in Europe, by Cosworth, or am I wrong?

The Contour's V-6 (Duratec) was partially designed in Europe with help from Cosworth and Porsche (believe it or not). Cosworth provided the aluminum block casting technology, and Porsche I believe did the head and intake design. Basically Cosworth and Porsche were consultants on the design of the engine by Ford. However, the engine was built in the U.S. by Ford. I distinctly remember seeing "Made in the U.S.A" stamped on the front of the engine. In fact, the 2.5L Duratecs for the Jaguar X-type are built in the U.S. on the same line and shipped to England for installation into the cars.
Its a great motor, and the SVT version of it has been on Ward's top 10 best engines list right there with the VQ for several years.
