No, it was a name I used long ago for a character in a game. Wanted a word that had something to do with forrest/wood. Kinda liked the way it sounded and everything I could come up with using "Mori" was already taken.

As for the manufacturer of this product...all the package says is "Super Driving RC". There are a few things in kanji that I can't read but nothing that looks like it would say @CAR.
