That's before 15% tax! If you trade in a car , they figure the tax on the difference.

Re: How much did we all pay for our coupes?
In doing some comparison shopping between dealers in Kansas City, Wichita, Omaha, Des Moines, St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta I've found G35 coupes ranging anywhere from MSRP to $1265 off MSRP depending on option packages. The best deal I've found for a coupe has been on the following configuration:
Auto
Leather
Premium Package
Nav
Trunk Mat
MSRP - $36,265, Order It Price - $35K even.
I'd say that I can consistently find $500-$800 off MSRP, and in some instances up to a $1000 off MSRP, the $1265 was an in-person hammered out "deal" to order a car.
With the onset of winter dealers are starting to see cars begin to pile up on lots. I've been watching 4 different cars, all very close to what I want for the last 2 weeks now and none of them has sold.
Suffice it to say that if you aren't in a hurry you can get a deal, if you just have to have the car that day then the dealer has no incentive to come off MSRP.
Note these were all automatics, the 6MT's I have not priced but I understand from at least a couple of dealers that they won't come off at all on 6MT's right now.
Since I already have a much faster and more track capable 6spd car I'm simply looking for 3rd car / winter driver and something my wife can drive as well. In other words, no hurry for me.

This only reaffirms my position that cars like this don't sell as well in the midwest. It's pickup truck American car land.

I live in Toronto, Canada and I paid $50927 CDN for mine
ordered 12/6
deliver around end of Feb, early March
Black G35 coupe
A/T
18" wheels (Performance pkg)
Nav
sunroof
bose
They were going to offer me $2000 off MRSP
but then decide to trade in my 1997 Camry CE for$5927
so the total I am paying is $51750
I think I made a stupid mistake, I should get the $2000 discount and sell my camry by myself!
