My car was just involved in a minor hit and run (the lady backed into me, made a 'u turn' and left before I could get the plate# [women drivers ]). How much will it cost me to replace the front bumper (how much does the front bumper cost)? I just want to get an idea of how much it will cost me before I call Infiniti tommorrow. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes it will be cheaper. I had my bumper replaced by my dealer after i hit a big pothole (it was either the pothole or a big MACK truck), and they charged me $800 (give or take a few)!!! I thought this was rediculous, id be interested to know what you get charged.

 

i took it to a dealer recomended body shop and it cost me $800 but im very happy with the job.

 

on ebay there are 2 differrent coupe bumpers for sale, cheap!!

 

When I got my bumper done after the accident I was shocked to see that the front bumper shell was only $200 according to my bodyshop invoice. Don't let your dealer overcharge you for it, if they do start thinking aftermarket.

 

It costed me 650 (new bumper, painted and installed).

I called the dealer and they quoted me $290 for the front bumper. I am going to make a visit to Infiniti on monday to discuss my options. Hopefully I can get this repaired for under $700.

 

290? thast pretty good. My dealer wanted 390 for the non aero bumper. Unpainted. dnno what im gonna end up doing? would it look weird to have an aftermarket front and nothing else on the sides or rear?

 

I got quoted 340 for the front bumper. Add another 150 to that for the paint... 800 is a ludacris price to pay for a front bumper & install.

yeah, the 340 was a dealer price but not the 150. That depends on who you take it to to get it painted.

 

Not from the Dealer, but one of the best in Jackson MS area. $625 for the bumper and paint.
