Ah .. the data systems spoiler I got mine through a groupbuy here too. It's a sweet looking spoiler. Mine is brilliant silver so it looks exactly like the one pictured. I get looks from other G35s with stocks. Good luck on the GB and enjoy the sleekness of the data systems.

Around how much would it cost to get it painted and installed? Would this have to be done by a dealership to ensure proper paint matching?

I am sure a dealer would not do it - depends on the dealer. You will have to check local bodyshops for estimates on the paint and install.

The body shop that I always do business with quoted me $150 on paint and install. I figure a little more than an hour spent on each (paint + install) @ $60/hr labor and that's about right.

If that quote seems high to you ... then I'd still go with them b/c they did an awesome job when I had my previous car painted House of Kolor Kandy Apple Red and I just their work completely.

If that quote seems low to you ... then take into account that I've had a lot of history with them and they just helping me out

And as far as paint matching, I think you should be fine seeing how you have a stock color and its a 2005. I don't think it could have possibly faded that much in half a year.
