Seat motor making funny noise

The passenger seat goes forward just fine as well as back. The only thing is that when it goes back it makes a weird noise. Not too loud and it's sort of hard to explain. Is this something typical out of these seats? Anybody have this problem? Possible solution?

Thanks!

Mine make different noises when going backward too. I think because it's easier for them to go back than forward.

I had the same problem. My seat sounded like it had sand in the gears when it went backwards. It sounded fine when it was moving forward. I also had seat rocking issues. Lokey Infiniti repaired the seat under the TSB (seat movement) and I havn't had the problem since.

Hmm...it doesn't really sound like something is stuck in the track or like something is grinding. It just seemed like it should be as quiet going back as forward. But I feel a bit better knowing others have had the same problem. I'm out of the warranty period so I can't get it fixed (for free).
