You'll never be able to keep up, what does it matter?

 

any idea to when the pictures of the 2006 coupe should be out for us to view? really want to see how it looks like...

 

hey whats up ladies and gentlemens. im looking to buy a care within a 2-3weeks matter of time. Ive made my decision to buy a 2005 g35 coupe 6 speed but news hits couple days ago 2006 models are coming out!

ok so i know everyone is gonna tell me to get a 2006 model but b4 you guys do hear me out. Ive gotten a deal for $32,000 (before tax+license) for a brand new 2005 black on black 6 speed manual with just premium package only. I mean thats a pretty good deal. So here it is-

-if i go with 2006 model, prices will definately go up right?
-i would probably have to be on a wait list or something?
-the car is not even out on the lots yet
-6 speed model is not gonna be out until january 2006? true?

ok my last set of questions.

with the 2005 coupe's- can the headlights from 2006 be swapped on to the 2005? can the 2006 front bumper and tailights be swapped onto the 2005 coupes?

so what should i do?

Isnt this new color the same color that was an option on the 04 Z? I seem to remeber there was 3 silver colors that year for the Z which some thought it was 2 too many. Now that new sport package body kit sounds interesting. Also I stil don't know the difference betweeen the super HICAS and the HICAS system?

Well, I just strolled through Nissan/Infiniti HQ yesterday and took a peak at their parking facility, R&D facility, Storage parking and PR area. No signs of 06 G35 Coupe yet, but I noticed in the last couple of months MOST of the G35C's (30+) on the lot have been replaced by 2005 models with 19" rims. That can only mean one thing IMO - 06's are coming.

 

If you intend to do these swap, I suggest waiting for the 06 as it will be very costly to do so. In the end, you will have saved money and the present deal you're being offered won't be as interesting as it looks.

 

Until two weeks ago I was set on waiting for an '06. I got a great deal on my 6MT 2005 and still don't regret it. Those changes are marginal to me and I wanted a good deal on the car. I don't know what the price hike is going to be for the 2006 or what some of those features will cost but I'm sure I saved a couple grand that I would rather have in the bank than have those new features....

 

Talked to Grubbs yesterday, and the guy swears that there wont be any changes to the body, but only time will tell. He also said there will be redesign in 07 model year. He says the order book is going to open monday or tuesday, only thing he confirms is the bluetooth on the 06.

I am going in on Monday the 8th to see about ordering an 06. hopefully some pictures come out before then so i can see what the changes are! O_O i'll post after i go there to let you know what my local dealer says about the options and cost.

 

I looked at and test drove the 6MT last week and will probably go back this weekend. I'm here in Northern California. I'll let you know what I hear too. I'm looking to buy in the next month and the blue tooth and headlights are making me wonder if I want the 05 or not. I get VPP pricing but still there's probably going to be a big difference. I guess only time will tell. Anybody else who hears anything please, please let us know. Does anybody know what the wing is supposed to look like? You can't really see it in those pictures. In fact, it looks the same. Any other pic's that might give us an idea? Thanks.
