341 km/h = 211.887577 mph

As previously posted, Smoky had set out to Germany to challange the Autobahn. The infamous "Chiba-kun" tagged along for the ride of a lifetime and captured the whole thing on film. The goal originally was 330 km/h and as you can see, the goal was met and exceded. There is a special in the next issue of Option Magazine and Video footage on the next Option video. All I can say is the car is pure sex. Smoky plans further tuning and events with it and I just can't wait to see more.

 

Does it still count as a g35 even tho virtually nothing is the same?

 

I wouldn't say "virtually nothing is the same."The engine and drivetrain are different but the car is still the same chassis. The suspension is exactly the same you could put on your own G35....

The engine and drivetrain and suspension seem to make up a pretty hefty part of a car, don't you think?

It's much more a G35 than if you compare Dodges Nascar Charger to a regular Charger, or Chevy's Monte Carlo etc.

I think you misunderstood. The engine and drivetrain are different. The suspension is still G35 spec, meaning we could bolt the stock G35 suspension back on the car.

As soon as I get some more free time I'm going to add a wallpaper section to the website. I have alot of awesome photos that have hardly seen the light of day.

What I really wish I could post is a rip of the Option video with Smoky blasting the G down the Autobahn...but I don't even thing the DVD is on sale yet in Japan and there are tons of legal/respect issues that prevent me from doing so. If you're local, you're more than welcome to drop on in to see it though!
