I was pulling up to a stop light in Orange County, Cal. when this '99 or '00 545 pulls up aside of me. Now I usually resist all temptations of racing but something about this I could not. I could only see that he had aftermarket suspension, rims, hood, and exhaust. Looking at the driver and its some young punk with 3 girls in his ride and he leans out the window and yells 'let's race' and starts reving his engine. So I figure we're on a 3-lane street, stoplight to stoplight is about 1/16 mile + or - and islands on both sides with no adjacent streets surrounding us. I put it into manual and move forward a bit. Light turns green and we go... I get a half car lead at the start, which really surprised me. I hit 2nd and haven't increased or decreased the lead... 3rd comes around and I'm pulling from him ever so slightly and decide to shut it down.



I'm not into racing at all, I'm into car audio and custom looks. I'm posting this because I'm curious if anyone else has had any luck against a 545 or was this just a fluke? Can I actually log into my book that I took a 545?
