Make My Lease Go Away
Make My Lease Go Away
I am currently in a 42 Month lease..with an 04 6mt i have about 30 months left...Is there any way i can get out of it with out having to bring a jar of vassline to the dealership.......any suggestions welcome
You have 3 options:
Check out Lease Trader and Swap A Lease. I was successful in finding someone to take over my lease on a '99 Grand Cherokee Ltd back around '02 using Leasetrader although it took around 6 months. Boy was that a POS!
- Sell it and probably lose quite a bit of money
- Trade it in on another vehicle and add your negative equity onto another loan or lease
- Find someone to take over your lease

i think you need to consider if you are upside-down on the lease or not. what this means is do you own more on the lease term then the car is worth? you need to look at how many payments you have left, how much the residual is, and how much you put down. usually, leases are set up to make you pay the max amount possible, thereby being upside-down. luckily, the g coupes have a high resell value.
if you are not upside-down, you can sell your car and then pay off the remaining payments and the residual. dont forget to take your down into account when doing this tho to see if you are losing alot of $.
you can always try something like leasetrader.com to get someone to assume your lease. i cannot endorse this site tho, as i have never used it...

The coupe fits car seats very easily in the back. The walk out feature on thefront seats makes it easy to get the kid in and out.
Keep your car.
