05 6MT looks raised?

Why does it seem like the 05 6MT's look like they have more wheel gap? Do the 05's have bigger wheel wells? It seems like the 04's with 18" rims look fine but my 05 with 19" OEM rims seems like it needs to be lowered an inch or so.

Actually, the 05 with sport tunned is about an inch lower than the 04's or 03's to begin with!!!

Exactly. I've measured the gap on many '05's with the 19's and they are almost IDENTICAL to my '04.5 with the TEIN H-Techs (for the 350z). I might have 1/4 inch lower drop than a stock '05 with sport suspension but that's pushing it.

Really? So I guess the larger rims just make it look higher? So are the Teins pretty much the overwhelming favorites for G35 coupes? Where is the best place to purchase them and will I need camber plates?

Tien H-techs will drop your car about 0.8/0.6 and will not affect the camber. The S-Techs will drop a bit more and from I am told will still have little, if any, effect on the camber. So no new shocks would be needed with either setup.

I believe both Tien springs are within warranty specs, but could be wrong on this.

Are these H-techs for the G or the 350Z?

The one you're looking at must have the new off-road package.

Neffster has the H-techs for the Z and after an alignment he still needs a camber kit for the rears. Same thing with IS300TOG35 I believe. So don't always believe what you've been told.
