People with Clear Bras.
Hey guys, well its been one month since I got my clear bra and Im starting to get angry.
I just notcied 2 little brown dots on my clear bra and they are not coming off. I tried everything to get them off and it looks like they are either under the clear bra, which is impossible, or something else.
I have no clue wtf is. I know its not bugs because everynight when I come home and park I make sure to wipe all the bugs off the front of the car. These little specs are starting to make me regret the clear bra purchase. so it was either paint chips or brown dots, which ones worse now lol.

Reason why I didn't get clear bra on my silver. it looks pretty hideaous on ip too,
imho as you can clearly see the line when you get the hood done.
i only recommend clearbra on darker colors.
i use it on my other dark blue car.

Are you at all close to, or do you get close to any rail lines? I've heard of this problem on a few occassions and in every case it was rail dust.

If it is rail dust try claying. If that doesn't do it try a mild abrasive polish like Meg's DACP, Poorboys SSR 2.5, Optimum polish, Menzerna's IP or something similar.

Yea I just wanted to see if anyone has actually gotten the brown spots out with the claybars.
I might have to order one if they dont just go away themselves.
My clear bra on my BS is not visible at all. I just hate these little brown spots they are very annoying.

you'll end up with dark dots instead of the little knicks...which, imo, is
just as bad. if it's a daily driver it's worth a try though. i just drive
3sec behind the car in front. i have very little nicks on mine.
The bigger impacts from rocks...from wat ive found, the damage doesn't
look too obvious while the bra is on...it's until you remove the bra; the
paint is literally cracked and comes off with the bra when you want to
replace the bra with a new one.
at the end, you end up getting the bumper painted anyway...

If you are going to get a bra, do it ASAP after you buy the car. Seriously, one week and you will get chips.
ive seen that on some cars after the clear bra install.most of the times its rust.alot of times its rail dust fron shipping the car around from port to trucking.my friend s2 and nsx did the same thing.he clay bared the car and reapplied the bra.everyone is happy
