Yes, I was going ST but after talking to GRD, they assured me the power would be much greater out of the box with TT and also safe on 93-94 octane. If I eventually do blow the engine, I'll build it back up for much higher power. But Tuan said he tuned it conservatively for safe boosting.

I'm not sure but I know they like to only install the kits they're authorized dealers of so just call them and talk to Irshod. Good guy.

My only thing is couldnt have gotten similar gains out of the APS ST kit, costing less and will less maintainence down the road since you only dealing with one turbo!?

Great numbers btw..

it looks like fwhp unless the conversion from whp to fwhp was entered as 1:1?

anyway if so, thats about 380hp or so on the ground, which is generally thought of as 'safe'.. given a good tuning

BrianlG35C,

Ok Brian, I don't have a lot of time, but I can test drive your car for you and post my experiences here. Just let them know I’m coming. I don’t do these favors for just anyone.

No, so far the numbers have been around 380+whp on the ST, so this is about a 50-60hp upgrade out of the box.

Thanks for the offer and I know you'd be going way out of your way for this favor, but I'll pass.

No, it's 442 to the wheels. If you look at the stock Z numbers, you see it's around 240 at the wheels to make the claimed 287hp at the crank. That's a 16% loss from the crank. So if you take my 442whp, I'm making around 510hp!! If you doubt that or have questions, please call Tuan @ GRD in Naperville, IL.

Also, awesome numbers, that is almost exactly what I hope to get to some day with my G, let us know what it feels like!
Yep, they re-flash the ECU and everything. 9 out of 10 kits they have installed with stock internals. Main thing is people bolt these kits on and don't even bother re-programing the ECU. This local tuner has installed quite a few Greddy twin turbo kits.

Maybe next year I will have to replace my stock internals to get more power out of the car.

I've added other things with it, like sway bars and new brake pads. So it's best to call Irshod about a quote. But figure around $9K-$10K installed.

Congrats Brian! I love this kit! I just got mine back last Friday and the power is amazing. Drives like a stock G35 until you get on it and unleash the beast. It will throw you back in your seat like never before. Be safe!
