442whp On My New G35 APS Twin Turbo!!

Hey guys,

I posted this on the Forced Induction forum too but in case a lot of you guys don't visit it, I thought I'd post it here. I thought some of you stock guys might like to see the G's potential. Hope you don't mind.

I'll be getting my car very soon from GRD in Chicago. They've done a fantastic job so far and I thought I'd pass along the numbers on my APS TT. Tuan tuned it on a 93 octane map with 9lbs of boost. I'm sure some will say "your motor is toast!" but Tuan has been running his 350Z at 500whp for more than 11,000 miles on stock internals with no problems. After talking to him at length, I feel confident in his belief that my stock motor will be fine with these numbers. Especially since I can get 94 octane in Ohio. If not, I'll just build for more hp!

For a comparison, the baseline stock numbers are from Tuan's Z before any his current mods.

Thanks,

I'm glad someone finally posted real numbers on the APS. You just confirmed my decision to go with that kit. Keep us updated on any issues with that setup at 9lbs.

Very hot. A local shop here in MD said that I can run around the same numbers as you on stock internals with a Greddy kit. Which is my plans for now. Getting ready to order the kit. Thank you for posting up your numbers. Post up some pictures when you get a chance to see the car.

Please, please, please make sure they know EXACTLY what they are doing with the Greddy kit. It's not a bad kit, just out of the box is rather unsafe. In the hands of someone who knows the pitfalls of the kit, it's just fine.

Also, awesome numbers, that is almost exactly what I hope to get to some day with my G, let us know what it feels like!

BrianlG35C, I thought you were going APS Single, why'd you change your mind? Great numbers! How much power would be lost if you changed to High Flows from Test Pipes?

If you'd actually read the post, you'd have the answers. 9lbs and he doesn't have his car back yet...
