Go BIG or Go HOME

APS twin turbo here i come!

so i first started out wanted the aps tt but got sidetracked and eventually purchased the vortech kit.. well to find out yesterday the vortech is not compatible with the 05 6mt g35 so im back to plan A... aps twin turbo.. thats right im gonna do it.. go big or go home right? ive already spent alot of damn money on my car might as well take it to the next level.. from what i know the aps kits are the only ones that will work with the 05 6mt g35.. if anyone knows the best place/price for the aps tt let me know.. i need to pick it up in the next day or two and have it shipped out asap to begin instal.. i need to be ready for HIN sept 10th..

lets do it.. wish me luck.. i cant wait

Jimmy,
Call GRD in Illinois ( (630) 369 2800 ). , they have both the APS TT and ST in stock with the G35 supplemental parts. They can install and tune at that location, Tuan is the " infamous " unichip tuner, and will do wonders with your car, with all your mods, he should have no problems getting you to 440rwhp+ at stock psi. The cheapest place I found for APS kits was XX Tuning in CT ( (860) 291 8808 ) ask for John...... I was planning on going with APS as well, but decided to go with SFR/SSR TT, something different, plus plans on future motor build-up, best thing is they're located in my neighborhood. ......... Good luck on your next project.

Haste makes waste and *tick.tock* the clock is running.

Less than a month to order, receive, schedule, install, tweak, and troubleshoot.

Good luck.

I was thinking of that (you being in-country) when I wrote that.

I was once in Cuba (stationed there). In ten days I flew back to the states, shopped for and bought a car, then located land and bought that, then shopped for and contracted a house to be built.

This was back when modems were running at 2400 baud if you were lucky and there was no such thing as email or the Internet.

You wanna talk about pressure? I didn't sleep more than a couple of hours a day, it that. I was a raggedy-a$s POS on the flight back to the island, and then sat on pins and needles as I tried to control the construction of the house from overseas.

UGH. Never again. (although I did much the same thing when I moved to Texas from VA - although email and the Internet made it so much easier). When I move to WA in a couple of months, I'll live in a tent before I pull that crap again.

Local shop here has a 03 350Z putting out 500hp to the wheels with the Greddy TT kit and some other mods they do in house. Custom fuel rail set up, cams, ECU re-flash and a couple other things. Still trying to get a copy of the guys Dyno sheet.

But getting a shop that is not booked up to install that kit this time a year and finding a place with that kit in stock at a good price also might be cutting it close for Sept. 10. It can be done if you order the kit no later than today or Monday.

Most likely going to order my Greddy TT kit next week. Having 3 different turbo kits on my old 93 RX7 I always liked the Greddy set up. Could be different for G35's but it is all what you like.

Best of luck man, the TT will certainly take your already schweet ride to the next level!

This forum is an awful influence for those of us struggling with the dilemma of spending extra funds on mods or putting it away for savings. I hate living responsibly!
