Quick question from someone who knows little to nothin' bout cars
Been lurking for a week or so and I'm getting ready to get an AT coupe so I thought I might ask a few questions.
I know the answers to some of these will seem so completely obvious that they aren't worth the bits they are written on but I truly don't know them.
1) Since I'm getting an AT do I really need the VLSD that comes with the Sport-Tuned package?
2) If I don't get the package would I still be able to install a 3rd-party LSD later on if I wanted?
3) What's this clearance strip I see mentioned so much in headlight threads(esp. those talking about the '06s)
4) Any tips on picking a color? I really like Athens Blue but I also like Laser Red and DG. I hate hard decisions.
Thanks,
Brian

dude, the limited slip is awesome, but if your just gonna use it as a commuting car, back and forth to work, then it would just be for bragging rights. if you plan to take the car out and really drive it, then yes you would def. want the limited slip. also if you live in an area that snows, limited slip is much better
the sport tuned package, makes the ride a little rougher, you feel the road a lot more. and as for putting limited slip in later, it's possible (theoretically adding anything to the car is possible), but it would be way more expensive than if you got the car with it from factory.
As for color, that's all personal opinoin I like bacl the best, the next color for me would be the Athens Blue

2) yes
3) its the long skinny area on the side of the headlight housings that houses a wedge bulb, its gonna be gone in the 06's... it looks cool so it sucks that its gonng be gone
4)black looks HOT but is hard to keep clean, white is classy, red is rare, dg is common, the blues are cool if u like blue, silver is common also
good luck!

Also, make sure to look into the Navi option....something alot of others have regretted not getting.
if you are considering adding a LSD later on, chances are you enjoy driving. If that's the case, I would think about purchasing a 6mt. Auto is good for times you are in traffic, but the sheer enjoyment of rowing through gears, and control over your car is great! Make sure you test drive both before you purchase.
And for color, see each one in person. Pictures can be decieving.
