Front discs needs to be replaced at 32k km

I have a 03 Coupe 6MT w/ 32,xxx kms... took the car into the dealership today for the window problem and tire growling known issue. Note all $ figures are in CAD.

I expected an alignment or remount of the tires (as I have read on this forum) to fix the noise issue. Next thing I know, the service consultant wants to have a chat with me. He said there are three serious issues that needs to be addressed immediately.

1. Rear tires, they are gone. I somewhat concured. He said that'll cost me $550/tire. Niiiice try.

2. Front driver wheel bearing is gone so that needs to be replaced. Under warranty, so i'm cool with that.

3. Front brakes needs to be replaced as there is no pad left and the discs are warped. I have heard my brakes squeak once in a while and I planned to have this changed anyway. Thing is, he said the discs needs to be replaced and cannot be machined because there are "heat holes"? and somewhat warped. He didn't want to risk resurfacing them and having me come back to order new ones shortly after. This will cost me $2100. $750 per rotor, $200 for labour, $330 for pads and ~$65 for some other part. This one hurts.

My question is, is this normal? Car has such low KM and have been tracked once. Service consultant said I may have saved the discs if I had turned VDC off and brought it in for resurfacing earlier. At this stage, it is a bit too late. Hmm... if my pads were really down to like nothing, wouldn't I hear it squeak EVERYTIME i hit the brakes?!

Because I'm quite busy and travel a lot, i bit the bullet and dropped my car off just for the brake job. I'll can get a decent set of new tires for $1200, screw that. They gave me a g35x for a loaner.

Dude... you can get much better quality aftermarket components for a lot less. Instead of $750 per rotor, think $750 for all four which will be better than stock.

Gosh dang, those rotors are an awful price!. Might be due to Brembo's. At 32k clicks, to me it's about right for OEM brakes to be done. My bro's were done at that mileage.
You should have heard sqeaking from the brakes on every application if the pads were that far gone. The low pad indicators should have rubbed on the disk. Not sure why not.

I don't blame you for passing on the tires.... , You can get a new set for half that.

Good luck with the repairs, and enjoy.
C.
