06 g35 or Turbo my 05 rsx-s

Ok so the situation is this. My 18th bday is coming up and my parents wanna buy me somethign nice ( i bought my 05rsx-s ) and i said how about a turbo? So they investigate the idea but dont like the smog issues (california) and the voiding the warantee.. Soooo they suggested buying me a new car a 350z or a g35... i personally love teh g35, its goregeous but im not sure if its the better choice... I will be heavily modding the g if i get one so in the long run the g will be faster than a turbo 05rsxs... once i research more of the g35 i'll know if i can turbo it and have warrantee and etc... anywayz i'd like to hear from everyone !!!

No one can really tell you what to do... It's either you want to go faster or get a nicer car. I'd take the G, but I might be a touch biased since I own one.

RSX and G35 are not the same class of cars and therefore, do not really compare well. What you want should dictate what you should do...

Let me get this straight.

You bought an 05 RSX-S, and now you're wondering if you should keep it and install a turbo, or get rid of it and get an 06 G? How long have you had the Acura?

I wish I had the money some of you guys had...

For your age, I'd say get the RSX and turbo it. Probably more fun. The g35 is more of a luxury car and you have a few more years before driving a RSX would seem kind of odd.

I have absolutely no idea where your coming from... they are not THAT different from each other to be put in different categories... the rsx is nice but not as nice and their both coupes but different driving setups(fwd/rwd) and i have no idea what " What you want should dictate what you should do" means... yeah the car is 1 yr brand new 05.. 7k miles... nice car but the g's are sooo frkn sexy!!! with tt you own the road...

T-Far.. im 18 and i have a G. ... if ur eventually gonna MOD the car u get ...doesnt matter if its the RSX or the G .... get the G ... its just a better car ... and if your parents are willing to get it for you.. then get a G. if i was you i would do that... i havent really modded my car .. but i still love it and am very thankful for it. G35 is a major upgrade from an RSX anyways . Good Luck .. hope u make ther right decision

If you want to put a TT setup on the G, it's gonna cost a little bit more than it would on the RSX. Plus odds are it would cost more to build a new block on the G than it would on the RSX which is probbaly gonna be something you want to do later on down the road. It pretty much costs more to drive the G than it does to drive the RSX. Something to consider.

I traded my turbo civic for the G. No regrets. I lost soo much "modified" money in the civic when I should of invested in a reliable luxury. That is why all the integras and civics say "daaaaaamn" to us and not the other way around. Think about it.
