trade the g in?

gosh i used to love the g.........guess what happened? i couldn't keep up with an ugly *** sti......the only thing nice about that car is the cluster.......-.-
anyway........do any of you feel that the G isn't powerful enough? i mean we can spend close to 10k and blow lots of cars out the water......but i'd rather get an Evo and spend 5k and have a monster.....what do you guys think? opinions greatly appreciated~ thanks!!

The G is not made for racing, its not a sports car its a Luxury Coupe that has a nice punch to it, but its not a sports car. EVO, STI, S2K is what you want

Honestly dude, if i wanted a car that would make circles around most anything on the street i would have not picked the G. Maybe a evo, sti, s2k, srt4 or anything else along that line with 100% power 0% luxury. The G is not ment to race with, its more in the area of luxury then a sports car.

Overall the G is the best bang for your buck, you get a decent amount of punch in the engine, sexy exterior, luxurious interior. I mean what else do you want for a mid 30 grand car?

You can go with an evo, those things are quick, but what it has in its engine compensates for the poor interior. same with an sti.its a dick magnet, the G,however, attracts everything!

if you want more punch get an evo, and smile at the boys who turn there head to look at your car

If all you care about is speed, then you bought the wrong car.

You got beat by the ugly *** STi because all of the money in that car is in performance. If you wanna thrash people around get an STi the G isn't the car to do that. Not saying the G isn't sporty, it handles nicely on autox courses and the like but it's not made for straight line power.

there's always going to be something faster. i found the G to be the best balance of practicality, power, sport, class, and luxury. If you want a 4 door STi thats faster but sucky at everything else - ride quality, stereo, looks, then go for it. there are pros and cons for every car in the G's class, but again i think the G has a balance that the others don't. think about why you got the G in the first place. And consider what car you would like to take a date out with.

Regardless of what you trade for . . . Eventually, you will run up against another trade decision, if speed/performance is your concern. Like everything else, you are outdated and underperformed in very short time.

Perhaps, you might appreciate your G for what it is and save some money in the long run?

No matter what car you get, no matter how much you spend on that car, there will always be someone else faster.

There is more to enjoying a car that straight speed -- especially if it is a daily driver. If you don't drive at 10/10ths all the time, you will most likely miss the luxury aspect of the G.

like everyone else said, the g is not really a sports car, if it was, it wouldnt be at 3500 lbs its a luxury coupe that is pretty quick but not as fast as those cars that are all about speed

you bought the G for all the wrong reasons.

Go trade it in and get your Evo.

It's up to you bro, but I doubt you'll be happy for long.....There's so much more to driving and owning a G than speed and performance.
The Speed and performance is well represented in the G, but it has beauty and panache that's unmatched in any other ride.
As you say, some others have the speed, but are seriously lacking in the look-at-me department.
G/L with your decision

C.

Same as everyone else, G35 is not for raing. Doesn't have the straight line power of many other cars. Here's another option. Try the GTO. Can't beat 400hp out of the box for 32K. Interior is probably nicer than the the G too.
