Curbed the stock 19" wheel avoiding a STUPID DRUNK!

I was leaving a bar called Durty Nellie's out in Arlington Heights Chicago, and i'm turning left at this 45º turn. Well this guy, swerves to the middle of the narrow two lane road, and when i tried to avoid him, i overcorrect and hit my wheel on the god damn curb.

There's a scratch on the lip, maybe about 3" long. How much is this going to cost me to fix? Also, i have that wheel plan that infiniti offers...does that cover this?

I asked this question when I bought the wheel package and I was told that it didn't cover curb marks. Well this is what they told me and what was written in the contract. It covers any bent wheel that is damaged beyond proper use, but not any curb marks, nicks, and things like that.
Hope yours covers the damage though!!

Check out http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com. I made an appointment for friday. I curbed my rim last week pretty bad too, about 8 inches in two separate spots. I'll try and post before and after pictures.

I purchased the tire and wheel warranty from Infinity of Lisle. I hit a chunk of concrete not long afterwards and it blew our my tire and scratched the wheel. No structural damage, so no fixy my wheely. Good luck trying to argue that they told you it would cover everything. I hope it works out for you and I would be pissed too.

If they wont repair the curb mark, you could bend the wheel on purpose?

Scratches happen, you can't really spaz that much over them, I prolly have 1 6 inch, 2 3inch stractches on mine... Normally can't do anything about it, and they are so minute that you don't see them unless your lookin for it.

Just chill.

They will not repair it if it's a curb, a pothole on the otherhand is a different story. The dealer told me if I was making a claim to say there was a pothole. After all a curb is just a "vertical pothole" if you catch my drift.
