Stock Window question

Stock Window question
The G35 coupe's brochure says that the car has "tinted" windows for UV protection. Does anyone know what the stock tint percentage is? To me, it looks a little more tinted (in stock form) compared to other stock cars.
The reason I ask is that I'm going to get my windows tinted and I want to keep my tint within the law. The Missouri law is 35%, so I'm worried if I get my windows tinted to 35% by the shop, in actuallity it will be darker if tested. I've read from a few members here that when tested by a cop, the percentage was darker than they thought.
But mostly, I don't want my tints to be too dark. Certainly no darker than 35%. If there is a measurable stock tint already on the coupe, perhaps I can ask for 40%
As you can see, I'm in the research mode. Thanks for any help.

I don't know about your state, but the wording of OR/WA law, (IIRC), actually talks about the % that the film allows to pass, not the glass itself. Which is why it also says you are not allowed to apply more than one layer of film too.
With that being said, I doubt the factory tint is 35%, because some states don't allow any tint on the front windows. I think the factory tint is more like 2-3%, which is probably why some state laws have a plus/minus 3% clause.
Either that, or it's talking about the tinted strip on the top of the windshield.
