4300K gives optimal light output. 8000K is like driving with your eyes closed. 6000K is a little better, but still not the optimal K rating

 

why is everyone changing their bulbs for less light output? a lot of people complain about the g's hid system to begin with? are you guys are just doing it to look better (i cant blame you if you are- but is the reduction in output that bad?)

 

The 6000K is not bad at all and it gives a whiter/bluer look which is what I wanted. The 8000K+ bulbs are waaay to blue/purple for me and, at that point, the amount of light severly decreases.
