Possibly some good pricing news
Nissan just annouced the pricing for the new 350Z convertible. In the press release, they said that they 350Z coupe for 04' will not increase in price, despite the strong sales. Nissan wants to make value a focus for sales. So the question now is, will it continue for Infiniti also?

Z coupe pricing did increase, but only by about $200. The base Z is now $26,370 up to the Track model which is $34,180. The Roadster pricing starts at $33,850 for the 6MT Enthusiast to $37,190 for the 5AT Touring. Very reasonable I'd say.

Remember any price increase in the G35 would be to give it more separation from the 350Z. Given that there are still waiting lists for the Coupe, I don't think that no or little increase in the 350Z would correlate with a potention increase in the G35.

The Z did increase at the end of the 03' model year. You will already see that $200 increase on the last 03's hitting the lots. It did not increase on moving up to the 04'. I still don't have a firm date on my car, but they are still estimating the first week in September. Keep in mind that once the last 03's ship, there is a shutdown in the factory for 2-4 weeks for re-tooling.
