Navigation LCD , SAT and left speaker out Qs...

Lately, I noticed that my LCD needs 5 seconds or so for it to get to its normal brightness. Scenario: I get in, start the engine, pop up the nav, screen is very dark, I need to wait 5 sec so I can clearly see all the lettering . Is it normal?

My Sirius SAT tuner used to "freeze" from time to time (first it would say ACQUIRING then NO SAT ) , disconnecting tuner or battery would help. Lately this has not happened (more then couple months). Am I lucky or has the Sirius signal changed a bit to prevent tuners from freezing ( from what I'm told... ) ?

Also from time to time when switching from SAT to CD my left front speaker stops working. I need to restart the car/play with radio controls to fix this... Is this common ? Is there a TSB/fix for this ?

When the LCD for the nav is dark is the weather cold? Or Is this temp independent? In my previous cars when the temp was cold or hot hotside the nav screen would be darker/unclear and then when normal operating temperatures were reached it was fine....

Up here in the frozen north (UGGGG) my navi is dark(er) until warmed properly, but in the summer months, all my navis (Sedan, Coupe and now the M's) comes up legible very quickly.
I'd say you have some issues with your system.....could be BCM related.
Dealer time.....G/L

left speaker problem

I seem to be having the same problem as you with respect to the left speaker. It does on and off (or it's really weak!). Apparently it's a known problem. I will let you know what the dealership says. ( I will be going soon)
