+1 on the projectors and rear lights. Spoiler, not feeling it. Overall OK. Still love the car.

After looking at all of the pictures of the '06, I have to say that I'm happy I bought an '05. The '06 would have to be just another car I'd have to get use to rather than likeing it from the start. Hopefully the '06 looks better in person.

I gotta say I prefer my 04 still. Not extending the spoiler pass the trunk line makes it look frumpy as the butt of the car look like it facing up. I do like the projectors but not having the side strip hurts. Have you guys ever had on your parking lights by themselves at night. It looks good.... Other than that the intell-key is a plus. The front spoiler/grill is going to make it hard for aftermarket applications since it sticks out like that. I prefer the OEM Lip that I have on my 04.

[QUOTE=lolo300zx]Well I agree with most everyone, there are things I like and things I don't like on the '06. I am happy to see them finally offer the Intelligent Key as it is a great feature, but still don't understand why they don't offer it for the 6MT[QUOTE]

Are there any cars out there that has an intelligent key and a manual transmission? I've only seen intelligent keys on cars with autos.

Well said. Of course I am biased, but I still think the 04 was the best production year. I like my 18" wheels better than the 19s. The 19s make the car look like it really needs to be lowered. The 06 spoiler is no better or worse than the 03-05 (which I don't care for either). I also agree that I like the OEM lip better than the integrated one.

I think Infiniti didn't want to deal with installing the lip spoiler anymore and just made it integrated. When I called my dealer to have the front lip installed they cringed like I asked them to perform an organ transplant and referred me to their body guy for the install. I ended up getting it installed at a body shop that thought it would take them 2 hours to do and ended up taking them most of the day. They did, however, do an absolutely 100% perfect job so I have no complaints.

lol I hear it all the time.. Fact is ... when I'm at the office ...you can call me there. When I'm home, call me there. When I'm out .. im out .. don't bother me!
$50, $60, $70+ for a junk phone & second rate service is not worth it to me... & yes I have had $500.00 phones & just about every company out there.. If I'm going to pay for something ... I WANT, NEED & DEMAND great service, somthing I feel cell phones can't provide. I'll do without .... Also gives me freedom .. to move at my own pace. Most people today go crazy if they leave their cell phones home when they go out. I walk around every where with the freedom I need ... no worries

Don't blink, you'll miss the changes.

Projectors are nice, but no big deal for me.
The rest is a wash.

Adding weight (however slight) without adding HP is taking the G in the wrong direction.

Changing the gearing may help performance (overcome the weight) but will do nothing to help the gas mileage which I believe to be the G's only real fault.

Nothing here to make me regret buying the 05. If anything, they've made the couple look like more of a chick's car (revisions to the front and rear) The more they tweak it, the more of the 'edge' they remove.

The booty still looks large.

The new spoiler is hideous.

Disagree with the seatbelt comment. I have had integrated belts into the seat, and they are more of a pain in the butt than dealing with the 05' design. When the connector is built into the seat, sometimes the belt rubs agains the neck.
Could care less about the front..Don't hate it, but refer the 05 front.

So are there any manual cars with the push button start? I thought the manual s2000 had it? Anyway, with the intelli-key being a nice feature I think it would get old each time a buddy hopped into my car and asked, "What's up with the fake key? Why not have the push button?" Nonetheless, would be nice to not have to pull the key out.

You get addicted to it, lemme tell ya. It isn't just the ignition, it's the doors, trunk, and wheel/seat settings too.

At first I thought it was a novelty, now I walk up to my truck and think "what a PITA, I have to pull out my key.

The only time my key leaves my pocket is when I come out of the gym and out from work and want to roll my windows down to vent the heat.

If my buddies ask me about it, I tell them. If they make a smart comment, I get up to about 45 MPH and then toss them out onto the sidewalk.

My sister's 6MT E90 has a push button start.

-1,000,000 on the seat belt redesign. Every time you fold the front seat forward to let someone gain access to the rear seat you'd have to remove the seat belt. That would drive me NUTS getting the kiddo's in and out at least once a day. Also, when it's raining not only would I have to stand out in the rain for 20 seconds while the darn seat translates forward, but I'd also have to try to juggle the umbrella and remove the seat belt at the same time... No thanks.

I prefer the front bumper design of my 04. I don't like how the front inlets look now on the 06.. And I still like my ironing board spoiler.

Does the memory seats and intelligent key come with the 06 6mt as well? Wish I had that for my 04 and the lil seatbelt harness.
