Never heard it called that before.

 

Overall not better or worst. It's all preference and I like the front bumper on the 03-05 better. The new tails look like a clear lense with a red inner housing.
Is it me or is the exhaust looking different?

 

its cool but i was hoping for more kinda like 04-05 how they changed so much, but anyways not worth trading in my 03 for. I like the key though

 

I haven't bought a G yet. But I plan to next spring. I hope the Nismo front and the 03-05 spoiler will fit, I still like those better than the exterior "updates" made. As for the taillights... neither here nor there IMO. Just slighty different and probably the least noticable change compared to everything else.

 

all i can say is the real G's were 03 and 04 with brembo's. end of story.

new changes are ok, not to thrilled though. not liking the reverse lights at all, but i do like the spoiler and bluetooth. not regretting that i have an '05.

 

The changes are very subtle, but I like the look of the 03-05 better. That new spoiler just looks strange, like they just chopped the ends off of the old spoiler. I don't care for the new taillights either.

Overall, it doesn't look better, just different. They changed it just to change it.

 

When I went to the dealer to mount rear spoiler and I asked them if 06 spoiler would fit on 05, they said it wouldn't since they were told that 05 spoiler wouldn't fit on 06 model (due to new rear design).

IMO, I like 05 spoiler look better on the car, but I like 06 tail light better.

Overall, I'm happy with my 05 coupe!!!

 

I think it was SMZ mag or something that said that the 06 coupe exhaust was quieter...but no way to really confirm that.

I think the upgrades are nice and subtle...the front bumper is indifferent to me...barely notice the difference.

I take it that the pictures of that coupe are not those with the optional sport package that includes different front fascia and side sills?

 

It doesn't look like they changed the trunklid at all, so why wouldn't it fit? Remember, never believe the dealer! They are ignorant and will lie if they don't know the answer. At this point, you know as much about the 06 as he does, probably more.

Here's my take on the 2006:

1. I like the angular look of the front bumper but I wish they had made it lower to the ground. It looks higher compared to the old one.

2. The projectors are way cool. Only problem is that the light will not fill in the oval housing and the clearance strip is gone. The strip makes our car unique.

3. I like the spoiler somewhat but should have made it extend out wider. The old spoiler is maybe a little too big at certain angles.

4. Interior upgrades are nice.

5. Tail light is a maybe. Don't like the bubbles. Don't like the reverse lights. What is the deal with that white button on the tail light? However, looks like the outer circles may have LED now too. That would be tight but will need to see more pictures.

 

Its not like a veilside side sill lol, its just a very subtle change, theres a crease running through it i think that you can see at certain angles. Its not very clear from the pics, you will have to see it next to an 05 to see the diff.

Yah, i saw those pics already and remember how i was saying i was gonna wait for the 06? Meh, not worth the extra money. I'm gonna try to aim for a fully loaded 05 w/ navi.
