the drivers side has that extra cushion in the middle because men drive and women sit in the passenger seat.

by the same token, cars with the manual transmission are meant to be triven by men only, because the middle break pedal is supposed to be pressed by a $!@ .. umm ... you get the idea ...

 

The middle bolster on the driver's side seat is to make your leg less fatigue during driving. It holds your right thigh in place, I think.....

 

...too bad the don't make massaging seats like some MBs...

that would be a mighty fine place for my slitherin' slinky to get some R&R and a happy ending.
