If your not worried about money then get the 06. New options, why settle for something thats older?

I had to order mine (IP/Stone) with no options a few months back. It took it almost 2 months to arrive. That would put it right at the arrival date of the '06 models, so you're only hope is probably finding one on a lot or getting lucky and there still being one at port that's available for some reason.

Now the Premium Package is all you really need to avoid when looking. A trunk mat can be pulled out. Of course, if it has guards then it's already been drilled for them. I'm sure mine was a body-in-white, so to speak, so the splash guards were port-installed items and the trunk mat could have been tossed in by the dealer.

Those two options hardly made a difference in the monthly payment. Final sale price was about $32,250 or just under. They accepted my request to beat a $1500 off MSRP discount on an ORDERED vehicle and gave me $1750 off. I didn't bother with further negotiations at that point.

I've just did an inventory search all over So. Calif (40-50 dealers) and found some Athens Blue / Graphite 6MT 05s that I want - rather than ordering an 06 and not seeing it til xmas.
What ya think if I ask the sales mgr that if they don't sell them in the next 30-60 days, I'd like to buy one at "invoice" or below ?
Yes, I know I'd be buying a car that already a yr old, but shouldn't they deal since they need to make more for the 06s ?
Does anyone know what Infiniti does with the 05s they don't sell ? Do they wholesale to some auction company when the 06s arrive ?

2006, no question. Got to get the latest model when purchasing a car, and get those projectors.

After a lot of considering, I'm going to wait for the '06. So, I'm going to hit up the dealers and wait it out.
So the next question, WHEN are they going to release prices...anyone heard yet?

Yeah, Towbin's pretty much it for Vegas. I was getting my rotors & pads serviced there, and was talking to a guy getting his FX done too. He told me he went through a broker, that bought the same car in Scottsdale, AZ and saved about $7,000. That might be worth looking into. I have to say though, that the service at Towbin is excellent.
