Which to buy...2005 or 2006 (unbiased)

Hey Guys,
I'm somewhat of a newbie here, love reading the posts. Keep'em coming!

I'm just about ready to make my G35 coupe purchase. Now that we've seen the '06 pics and changes from the '05, Which would you buy? I'm sure there were similar threads, but I want to see more 'unbiased ' opinions (i.e. like me since I don't already own one).
Lots of things to consider...of course, they haven't posted a price yet for the '06. Other than that, what would you pick, why?

2005.

1 - you'll likely be able to swing a better deal once the 06s hit.

The rest, available options vs non available options will come down to what you want in YOUR car.

I shopped 03s and 04s before finally buying an 05. There is nothing on the 06 that will turn my head or make me regret the decision (except the fact that I could have gotten a better price if I had waited another 6-8 months - but that wasn't happening) In some cases (the coupe) I think they went in the wrong direction.

05 offers all the revisions the car needed at what will likely be a very nice price when compared to the 06s. See what the numbers look like when they arrive and let your wallet/options preference be your guide.

2 - A return question - what will the 06 offer that you really want that isn't available in the 05?

I would get the 2005. I did the same thing with the 04-05... Got my 04 towards the end of the cycle so I could get it for less since nothing on the 05 was anything that I would really miss.

get 06 if you are not going to keep the car forever ! 06 will have better value when you sell it compare to 05

I would go for the '06 unless you absolutely can't live with some of the changes made to the '06 coupe. Bluetooth and Intelligent Key are two very nice and useful options that you can only get on the '06 coupe. So unless you just hate the new taillights and/or spoiler or some other cosmetic updates, I say go for the better equipped car, which would be the '06 in this case.

Unbiased? 06 all the way.

If you don't like the new bumper/spoiler/side sills, then get the car without those options. If you get the 6MT, I am sure someone will be willing to trade you the 'standard' aero parts. Blue tooth is nice, but I don't see what the hype is all about. I use the speaker phone function on my cell when I drive anyhow. (SonyEricsson K700i) The new projector headlights illuminate the road better than the reflector, the beam pattern is wider and more focused. The new tail light is odd but it's not 'bad looking' by any means.

No, unless you trade bumpers with someone of the previous years.
