06 MT equipped with spoiler or not?
I have read through the entire infinitinews.com site about the 06. I am still confused as to whether the 06 MT comes with a spoiler or not.
I found the following on the overview link and looking under Sporty Exterior, Refined Interior:
1. The Sport Package adds a unique front fascia and side sills for 2006
Clicking At-a-Glance and looking under Body:
1. Sport-Tuned Suspension Package adds a unique front fascia and side sills and available revised rear spoiler
**notice how it only says its available and not standard meaning its an extra exterior option**
Clicking at the specifications link:
Under Exterior Features and Options:
1. Sport bumper and side sills as "S" (standard) for MT
Under Packages and options:
1. Sport-Tuned Suspension Package (Standard on G35 Coupe 6MT): Sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels, P225/40R19Y front tires, P245/45R19Y rear tires, drilled aluminum pedals, perforated leather and orange stitching on steering wheel, Viscous Limited-Slip Differential, unique front fascia and side sills
My conclusion is that the spoiler will be optional on the MT and will come only with the aero package. It will not be standard on the MT. If you can direct me to where it explicitly says that it will come with the spoiler, it would help clarify a lot.

That would make sense, as it was just an option on the previous model 6MTs. I see that the side sills and front bumper should be standard on the 6MT, however, I see the same thing as you do regarding the spoiler... ...it's an available option. The OEM rear spoiler sales must have been pretty split in previous years for them to not make it standard. I love the look without a spoiler... ...but rear of the trunk gets so F'n dusty I'll be adding one for practical purposes.
Ditto on the DS spoiler. I have it waiting for prep and install. I also passed on the OEM aero because I already had plans for aftermarket stuff.
Shouldn't be a problem getting the '06 6MT without the spoiler. But if it's just not possible, I imagine you'll find someone here (without a spoiler) that will swap trunks with you.

Sorry, I think you're SOL. You'll at least pay for a spoiler you don't need. I'm a similar boat (I don't want _any_ spoiler)
What I'll try to do is this: talk to the dealer about finding someone buying a 5AT and swapping trunks.

I think that line above means that the sport-tuned suspension is standard on the 6MT, NOT that the spoiler is standard. I believe the spoiler will remain an available option on the 6MT.

If you read the specifications for the coupe on infinitinews.com it states that the aero package (which is the only place were a spoiler option is mentioned) is optional for both the 5AT and the 6MT. As in previous years the sport tuned package is standard with the 6MT, but does not include a spoiler.

I still think the spoiler is optional. Maybe we just have to wait when they get the interactive thing up.
How long did ppl have to wait before they can configure an 05 during 04?
