Strange problem

Not sure where to post this but having some odd problems.

Something strange is going on with my car. Today as I am driving down the road no bumps or anything my dash lights, radio and AC cut off. But my headlights, turn signals, windows, etc work. Car looses no power. Then a mile down the road I pull into my driveway everything cuts back on.

Only mods I have done recently is have a car alarm place put an alarm on my car about a month ago. Then 2 weeks ago had a crank pulley put on. But have had zero problems. Checked the belts on the crank pulley.

What should I look at as a possible problem? Or who should I take the car to? The car alarm place, dealer or speed shop that put my pulley on?

Anyone hear of anything like this happening? Or know what I should look at?

Thx for any input.

Sounds "electrical" so I would say go back to the alarm guy first. Doesnt have anything to do with your pulleys. DONT go to Infiniti first, because if it is something the alarm guy did, Infiniti WILL NOT cover it then! Have your alarm guy look at it first and tell him to be certain its NOT anything he did, and then go to Infiniti.... IMO I can't see how the alarm would effect the areas you're talking about, but then again if the alarm guy tapped into a power cable, ground or something that was in line with or connected to one or more of the things you're talking about happing (problems) then it just so might be the cause, so once again have him check it out first and only after he tells you he didnt touch anything of the sort, go to Infiniti, be also be sure to tell the alarm guy, if Infiniti finds something that he screwed up, you'll hold him responsible... Put the "fear of God" into him - LOL!

Good Luck!

Yah, I am gonna take it by the alarm shop first. It really seems like something is loose. Because I lost nothing else but the dash area. The A/C and fans in the dash also cut out as well as the Nav system. Everything else worked fine.
