keep in mind that it's 150 for projector assemblies, another 300 or so for the HID system if you don't want to use your current setup, or at least 100-150 for new D2S bulbs to use in your housings. If you want to do uppers and lowers, double this cost. I figured about 800 in parts not counting headlight assemblies ought to do it. Then you'll need someone to glue it all up. I suggest you wait along with the rest of us. There needs to be a group buy, we should easily be able to collect at least 500 of us on this one!

Here's the prices I've calculated:

New ECE E46 projectors are now $99 at hidplanet

The bezels are $28, although if you want the E46 bezels, those are harder to come by, and people on ebay sell them for close to $100

You can use your D2R bulbs, if you're careful, you can scratch off the black shielding, cut a new notch, and effectively convert them to D2S.

If you have a G35 coupe, it already comes with HIDs, so just use the factory ballasts. They are designed to bolt onto the headlight assembly in a waterproof fashion.

Buy some extra Nissan factory sealant, $12 at performancenissan.

Buy some 4mm bolts, maybe $5 at mcmaster.com

So you're looking at about $150 total.

If you do this yourself, it's only $150 and an afternoon of your time. I've already posted a rough DIY guide in the lighting forum. Seriously, that's the most cost-effective and fun way to do this.

Or you can PM someone here who has done it. Do a search, and you'll find about 3-4 members here who have done retrofits on G35s.

Or you can post a WTB retrofit thread on hidforum.com, where the entire forum is a bunch of retrofitters.

$150 for a set?
Sounds a decent price for parts. installation sounds time consuming though
