My luck :(

im driving to work today and im stopped at a red light right. All of a sudden Big tree droplets start falling all over my car like boom boom, im like WTF I couldnt move cause I was stuck at the red so I turned right. Well I get to work and I go to wipe them off. It looked like I had been pelted with Sap from the tree (my F$$King luck. Well The ones that landed on the clear bra are not going away. I tried everything to wipe them off, the ones on the hood came off easily, but the ones on the bra nope. So my clear bra the hood part now looks like it has yellow pee stains all over it. WTF do I do now?? I am so angry I dont even know what to do.

Yes. The clay bar won't harm the clear bra.

Try clay then try mineral spirits. Mineral spirits have a way of disolving tree sap that works really well. If neither of those do it try some Meg's ScratchX. If that doesn't do it you'll likely need a more abrasive polish, but at least try those few things before you rip the clear bra off. I don't know what color your car is, but if it's dark and you take that thing off, I can almost guarantee you *will* regret it.

If there are brown spots, it could be mold or mildew growing underneath your bra...my brother had the same situation happen to him. The installer came out and install another bra.

I just had sap on my car. The best advice is to get it off ASAP! I went to Autozone and picked up some bug and tar/tree sap remover. I think mine was made by Turtle Wax. You just spray it on, let it settle for a few minutes and then wipe it off.

As for my car, the ones that fell immediately I was able to take off but there was one spot that had hardened which took a little more effort but eventually came off.

I put on this remover, wiped it off and then clay bared!

Hopefully you should be okay. Good luck.
