Question Tire Sizes/Wheel Offsets...

Thinking about putting 19" wheels on my 03 G35 coupe - or maybe even 20's. Can anyone tell me the largest tire size I can use (with no mods) and the appropriate wheel width & offset? My car has all stock suspension.
!!!Many Thanks!!!

Most of us have put on 275 out back and 245 up front. However I've seen sizes as large as 295 out back. on this board and 255 up front is the widest I'd go.

I have 20's on a 9 inch front with 245/35/20 and a 10.5 rear on 275/30/20 which I'll be changing to 285 when they wear out. My Offset up front is +26 and back +29.

Offsets depends on the look you want. If you want the wheels flush your offset will need to be at the very least in the mid to low 20s but wheel width also plays a part. +22 is a very popular number with the Volk wheels etc...I have Maidos. Do a search on offsets and you shall find.

Thank you sir! ...But, when you get 'round to replacing the rears, why go to 285's and not 295's??

It's simply a matter of getting better wheel coverage for my lip. I don't want 295s. 285s should provide me with the protection from curves I need as the 275s on a 10.5 width wheel is stretched. I also plan to drop the car this fall and I'm not going to want to roll my fenders.
