I will admit that the car looks great, but the thing is going to get killed on the roads with 170hp 5-spd. If a car looks like that, it needs to be able to back it up.

If the car is about 2000lbs... 170hp is more then enough for it. I"m sure its not a Lotus but if its light weight then 170 is more then fine.

I just hope its not going to have your typical saturn steering and suspension. Like someone above bosted crap everything else.

It always bugs me that they would make a concept look hot and then production look like crap. I men seriously its just body panels it would cost the same to make them in concept for as it would in production

I like it, but the Miata is the bar and I don't know if this is going to get there... The 2.4l ecotecs are indestructable. I think that when it comes out I will be in line to go take a test drive. I think it would make a great second car. A rear drive convertable, their presence is being noted by mazda, it shows, mazda has upped their motor for the new miata. I love the sky design. BEST SATURN EVER.

That being said, the supercharged ecotec engine is dynoing at 220hp and 187lb/ft in the cobalt SS and ION redlines. I think that is the ultimate goal, the Sky Redline.

Looks nice except for the front grill- should take off that emblem. Needs more power- otherwise nice work.

Now as for that eclipse- all I can say is WHY WHY WHY????!!!! I don't get it- the prototype was exotic looking in the front the final product did not live up to expectations especially when compared to the mid 90's generation. I can't beleive that someone would approve the final product for the front en of that car.

The car is estimated to weigh about 2860 lbs, so 170 hp won't do much. Maybe 0 to 60 in 7.4 seconds. Stuffing a v8 under the hood in place of a I-4 is not the answer unless you like understeer. The car has almost 50-50 distribution now. Here are the specs: Skye

Pontiac Solstice - MSRP $19,995

Saturn Sky - est. MSRP $23,000

True that both these beauties have no power, but hey if you just want a ryde that looks like a $50k car but only wants to spend nomore than 25k, this is the car. Looks good
