A company called Mallet is planing to stuff a 400hp ls2 in the engine bay.. Now that is going to be one fast car.

 

i like it better than it's sister, the pontiac solstice. If the engine were better, ie japanese or german, it might be sourced from honda not sure, i might consider buying since it is cheaper and looks better than the crappy miata. Of course i would debadge before i took it home.

To be honest and fair, without looking into the specs, I like the design. Saturn should do quite well with this car. Now to look it up.

 

Saturn will definitely find its niche for this car. There are plenty of Saturn out there and this little gem should help increase their market share. Different strokes for different folks. I trust they will be quite successful with this new platform.

 

I wouldnt be surprised if both cars had the same platform as well as many identical parts.

I doubt it will be as good as the miata, but i'm hoping this lil gem (both of them) could keep up with ohters on the track.

 

looks nice. but GM has had a lot of "looks nice" cars in it's history. they usually have a fatal flaw. crap engine. crap suspension. crap materials. or just crap. i actually hope it's a nice car and does well for them. gotta hope GM can eventually pull themselves out. it will benefit everyone if they can.

 

any idea what the price is.....
I know they Saturn sources its engines for Vue from Honda.. if they do it for this one too, then I guess there is another decent convertible. Not my style though..I prefer coupes.

 

looks great, you guys should see the rear of the car, looks an 60K plus exotic, its just the engine is weak, 5spd 170 hp, it was a 6spd and 250 HP it be a winner
