like i said the G is great car, if not the best for the money, just ther pluses and minus of every car, and one car might be use full to one person than the other

 

One time when I was driving away out of a parking lot, I saw a little boy about 7 years old and his mom by their Mercedes Benz. The kid was staring at my car in amazement as I drove by. His mom tried to pull by his arm to get him in their car, but he resisted as he tried to catch a last glimpse of my coupe. He never said a word but his facial expression but a smile on my face!

 

dudes get off the honda comments and go start your own thread! this is a thread i started that is about comments made towards your G that were funny, unique or so far out there you cant do nothing but smile about it. if you guys want to i will even start the thread for you.

i own three cars,'05 G35C,2K accord coupe, and a custom '85 el camino, and its funny how this thread has touched on each of them!? i tell you this, i have been a GM man most my life, and its because of the G that i didnt buy another GM product. not to mention, there is no GM competition for it.

Drove up to a handwash in 2002 when the car first came out. The know-it-all attendance walked over with his mouth wide open. Then he said

"Wow, this is the new Infiniti! Did you know they call this an Acura in Japan?"

..... that rendered me speechless and tears in my eyes.

 

S2000 is definitely a nice car, not arguing against it, but it's not the BEST by far. It's sharp looking, it's got a butter smooth transmission, and it handles like a true sport car. That being said, it's unstable around the edges, it's not practical by any means, and it's got as much torque as a d banger Civic..... maybe less. To drive the S2000, you have to wind the heck out the engine and throw it around like you mean it. Cruising doesn't work because the suspension is too bumpy, can't listen to music cause it's too loud with the convertible top down or up.

That being said, if I wanted to buy a budget 2 seater roadster, the S2000 is still near the top of my list. Being that the Miata is simply too gay, the Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solatice not out yet, and the SLK, Elise, Boxter and Z4 too expensive. Of course, then there is the Smart Roadster & Caterhamn 7 that will run circles around the S2k, too bad it's not available in US.

So what ya'll say we stop fighting over this and just accept the fact that both are excellent modern automobiles. If GBest decided he wanted a 2 seater roadster with high winding engine, then obviously a entry-luxury-sport-coupe wouldn't satisfy him.

 

there you go, a smart comment, except the music part its load especially if you install the headrest speakers, both are great cars for their own uses

 

the G is "just" a Nissan btw... and overall, hondas are better than Nissans! u can talk bout Acura and Infinity, but they are still nissan and honda.

i never get the point of "its just a honda". i agree with Gest that those who says so are the ignorant ones. Nissan and Honda both make great cars and have made some very famous sports cars through out the history. however, i just cant stand it when someone compliments a car, another person has to say "its just a......"

this middle aged man comes towards me while i was filling my G up

he asked "Is your car a 2009 Nissan?"
i replied *No* its a 04 Infiniti G35 Coupe.

the middle aged man then said WOW that car looks like a 09
then he walks in his car

 

Yeah, one time someone asked my if I spent $100K on the car. I said "Yes" then they robbed me.

 

i had a friend say the other day "why are you changing the exterior of the car? it looks great stock. you should make it faster and leave stock beauty alone"
