funniest/craziest line said to describe your G
Just thought i could get to hear some of the reactions people on the street say or think about your ride when the see it. here are a few of mine...
The other day i was filling up my G and this wannabe (infront of his girl, she was sitting in the car, windows down) on the other side of the pump leans over and says "duuuuuuude, how much does one of those go fer?" i kindly told him with my options, about $38k. then he states..."de-yaaaaaam, i betch pick up lotsa hot b!tches in that!" i could only think wow, can the gas get into my car faster?
this other time i was walking into the BX at the base, and this older gentleman, i mean a WWII vet, says to me "How fast is that thing?" again, i replied kindly, sir if you want to, you can see the high side of 150mph. The gentleman thought for a second and then said..." I bet that car will get you a speeding ticket sitting at a stop light!" I thought it was a great way to describe the effect our cars have on people!
The older man made me laugh, while the other... you get the picture.

While cleaning my car at a kmart parking lot getting ready for a meet. One gentleman middle age asked me if it was a Porsche. Granted low lighting at night time.

Told him better warranty and perks for same price.
Asked me how fast i ever took her up to i said 145MPH but would do more.

EDIT: Just because I see the point of this post getting entierly missed. People don't buy a G just to go fast in, it's not the right car for that. Yeah, the car is quick but I doubt anyone thinks they have the fastest car out there (well I'm sure you could find an ignorant minority that you would gladly point out does while failing to realize this does not represent the majority of the owners). The G is a luxury car, it's a whole different animal than S2000's.

i agree with TheGest about the S2K's tranny.. it is truly smooth like butter and blows away the manual tranny offered with our G's..
and i also do agree with him that some G owners do get a little too ****y when they talk about their cars.. i mean yes, it's a good car, but i've heard people talk about it like it's a ferrari or something..
anyways, back to the main point of this thread..
i had two comments made to me within the first month that i got the coupe.. first was "that is one fine piece of machinery" from a middle aged man in a 5 series.. second was from an older gentleman who told me how my G looks much better than the ones he's seen.. at that time i had the skyline badging (which i later took off).. he asked me if he could go into an infiniti dealership and ask for the same "skyline" package.. all i could do was smile
