Why do you want to get a new car? IMO you should have NOT put down 20grand into a car you were planning on selling.

Well since you put 20 grand down you should have alot of positive equity in your car. If you really want to get rid of it go to the dealership of where you want to purchase your new car and see how much they give you for the G.

I he goes to a dealer to trade it in he may not get what he could if he sold it private party. Is there something you don't like about the G? What other cars are you looking to buy? It really doesn't matter that you put 20Gs down paypment. If you sell the car you will get that back.

well i was wondered if thats OK payments regarding downpayments and etc.
it's kinda hard for me to know rather i got ripped off or w/e;
i heard even though you get a good deal on only car price, they can rip you off by giving you high interest for loan
idk...
btw, i am getting a bimmer (M3 or X5 4.8...undecided)

1 more thing, 2 of you comment on downpayments...i know i downpaid a lot compare to the car price...can you give me some tips? (i am not kind of person who pays off but...in order to keep low monthly payments, i did it...plz comment on that one thx!)

If you were originally planning to keep the car . . . Paying all cash or applying a large down payment is always the best thing to do, if you have the financial means.
