I'm lookin at '05 rims, because I can, I like em /shrug.

What is a fair price for them? I saw a guy selling a pair with 200 miles on them for 1700 bucks, I've seen volks sell for 300 more than that... That can't really be the going price?

and of course i'd be willing to trade my 18's with someone =D

The OEM 19"s are forged and made by Rays as are Volks, so yes, they do go pretty high. $1700 is a little more than normal though.

thats a good deal if you ask me ... tires alone will run you a grand. So then thats $175 a rim.

 

no its not a good deal....sure the tires alone cost a grand, but they are used regardless.... People are listing them high hoping to get 1700 for them, but when buyers can spend a few hundred more for aftermarket, they are not gonna bite for 1700. I'd say anything less than 13-1400 would be a fair price to pay, given they are in mint condition.

I got a great deal on mine, but they have several small scratches, but a great deal nonetheless.

 

I did a little research on this recently and based on what I found $1,200 - 1,500 for a mint set is fair. Minor scratches and curb rashes drop that price by two or three hundred .
