well im not really doing too many preformance mods just intake..since there arent many moods for the 05 that give much power but i thought this mod would give a good amount of power compared to everything else besides FI

You said a lot right here, And you are right about mods for the 05. As far as intake I would spend your money on a z -tube and a stillen cold air box. After that I would go for a set of hi flow cat's (Crawfords). One of the best things you can do here is do a search for what you want to do.
