To emblem or not to emblem? That is the question.

I got my JDM emblems in yesterday and was naturally stoked, until I showed my wife that is. She totally flipped saying that we spent money on an Infiniti not a Nissan. So which of these would you do:

1) Don't listen to her and do the full JDM Skyline conversion
2) Remove the "INFINITI" letters and replace the "G35" with "350 GT"
3) Remove the "INFINITI" and "G35" leaving just the Infiniti emblem
4) Replace "INFINITI" with "SKYLINE" and "G35" with "350 GT" leaving Infiniti emblem

I started to get only the 350 GT emblem b/c I think it looks much better, but a friend of mine said it would look stupid not to go with the full conversion so I ordered all of the emblems. I'm torn. People here are all about status, so I can see my wife's point. On the other hand I want to be different from the few other G's on the road. I've seen only one other modified G here.

I concur with the wifey but it's just my opinion. However, whatever you choose,
go all the way. keep the infiniti tied to the g35 and the nissan skyline tied with the 350gt badge. I think it looks real weird when they have infiniti skyline on the trunk. that's like calling a supra a Lexus Supra.

If you rebadge, do it a step at a time so you can see the difference and stop when you are satisfied.

My preference is for just the 350GT emblem. Then either the words Infiniti or Skyline. But not the logo in the center all by it's self. The logo alone offers a central focal point for the eye and visually narrows the car while reinforcing it's height. A wide and low look is better IMHO. A lowered G35c looks pretty awsome.

Just leave it alone. There's no reason to remove the Infiniti or the G35.
Are you embarassed that it's a G35? Are you embarassed that it's an Infiniti?

I've never really seen the purpose in doing this.

RICE!

I never understood why people did this...it looks cheap and in reality you really don't have a Skyline.

I'm not ready to call it "rice". I just don't see the point.

I've never understood why people take the "325" or "330" off the back of their BMWs either.

The car is what it is. I'll just leave it at that.

The only debadging that I can understand it the removal of the dealer's logo. I'm cool with that.

Look, if you pay $30,000+ for your car, do whatever you want. I just don't see a good reason to remove the emblems though.

thats more of a sleeper thing, i did my badges simply because I think it looks better plus it adds a little bit more of "hmmm what was that?" I dont like the whole nissan thing thats tooo JDM for me. Lexus to Toyota, Infiniti to Nissan, Acura to Honda... im just not feeling that
