JDM!!! I think if you've even thought about rebadging, you should follow through with it, or live in regret. If you decide JDM, IMO you should swap all the badges out. I think it looks tacky when you have half and half...then again, just my opinion. But no matter what you decide, your car will still look good!!

You should be forewarned, that once you go JDM, you will get stalkers, rubber-neckers and paparazzi

This reminds me ... recently i saw and old acura integra with the acura tags torn out and a BMW Motorsport tag put in. I wonder who that guy thought he was fooling.

It's your car, do what you want. To each his own. In my opinion I'd like the JDM convesion from all the Infiniti emblems to Nissan and Skyline 350GT. Just like Lexus IS300 to Toyota Altezza. The only thing is the interior, the infiniti emblems on the seats would be expensive to remove, not sure, and the steering wheel cover.

yea but to do a "100%" JDM swap you would have to do things like change the steering wheel, seats, interior clock, engine cover, kick plates, trunk mat, front grill emblem. And its still wouldnt be 100% because your not going to move the to the right side. So anyways the truth is you can never do a 100% swap.. well you could but who would pay that much

I find that 90% of the time, people who took out 325 or 525 want to keep people guessing if the car is a 330 or a 530.

Are you embarassed that it's a G35? Are you embarassed that it's an Infiniti?

I've never really seen the purpose in doing this.
I agree. Would you buy a Lexus and put Toyota badges on it?

Thanks S Tuned!!! That really helps. I'm feeling the Skyline w/ 350GT and Infiniti emblem. I know it's kind of ricey to do that, but I think its a bit ricier to have Nissan badges outside and Infiniti badges inside. Like I said, I started down this road b/c I wanted the "350 GT" badge then my friend convinced me that I should go all the way. I'm just doing it to be different. Isn't that the reason why we modify our cars? Thanks for all of the input guys. I really like the suggestion of taking it one step at a time. Anyone want to buy some Nissan badges for cheap? Send me an email.

Opinions, A$$holes...everybody's got one. When it comes to questions like this you will get every different answer.

My take on this is the G35 and Skyline are the same car. Same company, same car...just marketed to follow the customs/laws of each respective country. So why would you want to change the badging from one to the other? Because "YOU" want to. Does there need to be any other reason?

Maybe you think it looks better. Maybe you like the word "Skyline" over "Infiniti." Maybe you want to have something a little different. Whatever your reasons for changing it is your own.

Personally I like the infiniti logo over the nissan logo but I also like the look of the 350GT emblem and "Skyline" lettering so I would opt for that combo. Whoever doesn't like that combo doesn't have to do it to their car.

I also personally think any combo that leaves off the center logo...be it nissan or infiniti...looks a little too plain and throws off the balance. And this is coming from somebody who shaved every logo, emblem, door handle, side bumper guard, and antenna mast off his '95 Trans AM. Again just my opinion...I know there are those who have done it this way and more power to them for knowing what they like and doing it. And those cars still look good to me, just not a choice I would make. Bottom line is: I won't judge you for your badging choices...so please don't judge me for mine.

+1, do what you want to do, its your own car
but since you asked for opinions, if you must rebadge your car you have to go with the 350GT, the red lettering on the GT part looks nice. A friend of mine rebadged his car with SKYLINE 350GT w/o any logo eblem and it looked alright, but when he debadged his SKYLINE lettering, it looked a hell of a lot cleaner! Really up to you, i would go with just the 350GT( if you must rebadge, looks cleaner ) or you can debadge fully! color also plays a big role, a debadged IP doesn't look as great as a debadged BO, IMO.

Also you mentioned that with the SKYLINE 350GT badgings would make you look different. Not really i see a handful of G35s with those badgings. Its not really "different" anymore.

Aren't wives fun, do what you think looks good! I removed the Infiniti letters
and left everything else. It looks cleaner, that's why I did it. Just wait until you
want to replace something else like the cat-back system. She'll say, " you spent
$35,000 for a car that needs updating, are you nuts"? Most wives just don't understand, not that there wrong. It's a guy thing! New rims, what for!
Good Luck! ! !

Because most Lexus' are pretty much toyota's and use mostly toyota parts. And the IS300 is an Altezza and uses Toyota's NA supra engine, the 2JZ-GE
