Well, it may be left over wax? Thats what it looks like when you accidentally get some on there...if so it is HARD to remove so try a claybar or some sort of "re-hydrating" chemical such as vinyl or upholstery cleaner (which is oily based) in order to rejuvinate that dull spot (it basically needs some sort of moisture).

Personally, I wouldn't bother cleaning. I'd take it to the paint shop and get it color matched to the rest of your car. Thats what neffster and I did. Check out the www.floridag35club.com picture gallery (its somewhere in there) for pictures on how his turned out. In my oppinion, I think thats how it should have came from the factory.

im my opinion the 2-tone style looks better than just painting it to match. but i have black so i can't really do much about it anyways

When originally detailing the car for the first time . . . I applied 2 apps of Klasse AIO and 1 app of P21s carnuba wax. I haven't touch that portion in some 2+ months. It still looks as if new.
