Say what?

Say what?
I took my car in for a P2135 SES (throttle position sensor) and the dealer told me that my mods caused this and it would cost me $800.00 to fix. I chuckled and asked them exactly which one of my mods somehow caused a malfunction in the signal between the TPS and ECU and this was an electronic failure and not mechnical. They said they would get back to me. This was 2 hours ago. I guess some dealerships underestimate who actually own these cars. I'll keep you guys informed.

I just got off with the dealership. They offered a deep apology and said that everything is covered under warranty. He tried to play it off by saying that the car was out of warranty at 66k, but failed to realize I bought the extended joint, biotch! I really think he was trying to cover up trying to get me to pay $800 for a part that my mods had no bearing in its failure.

Fields, but this is a new guy. The other two know me and very aware of my knowledge of the G. I honestly believe denying warranty is part of the service manual...
Engine Code P2135 Throttle Position Sensor voltage check
Start engine and allow to warm to normal operating temperature
Check voltage between Throttle Valve and ground.
Voltage measurement must be made with throttle position
sensor installed in vehicle.
Throttle Valve Condition Voltage V
Completely Close 0.15-0.85V
Partially Open 0.85-3.5V
Completely Open 3.5-4.7V
Test unsatisfactory? Yes
Is car modded?
Yes
deny warranty
Test complete.

Yea, they train them to deny first then ask questions later. See they usually get the older, unaware crowd this way. My car is 8 months old, and I still get the Not under warranty treatment....I hate the fact that I have to always have my guards up when going to the dealer and assume that I am going to ALWAYS have to hackle to get my way, which is the right way according to warranty documents and what not.
