Wow i didnt know that many people came from a Prelude to the G. Well in fashion of posting pics of old and new... here they are.
I'm a lude driver and miss the car very much. I honestly miss the Prelude and wish i would get it back. Best and by fun the funnest car to drive. Soo easy and predictable.

Now you're making me want to keep it and scrap the idea of getting this 04 6MT!! I'm not sure I want to give mine up either. If possible, make some distinctions between the two vehicles. I know they are of a different caliber, yet both 3 door manual coupes.
My Prelude, like most H22's, does burn oil, has a little rust forming under the trunk lid, but other than that, has been perfect for me. Moving to the G35 is tempting because I'll have 50K of warranty and it is also a lot safer, which means a lot to me. I feel better with the side impact air bags. With 113K on the Prelude clock, it may go another 100K without problems, or the problems could start coming soon. How many miles did your Prelude have and what made you sell?
I'm continuing to deliberate

I kept that car in mint condition, engine bay was so clean you can eat of it. My parents actually wanted to keep it, but i knew it was time for it to go because both 03/05 G35s were way cheaper in insurance. Prelude was just too expensive in insurance (which i hated). SO i ended up parting it out and giving it back to the dealer.
Honestly even to this day i still dont feel as comfortable driving the G as i did the lude. The things i did in a lude as far as driving it and being able to feel the car i dont think wil ever feel in the G. I mean that car was soo well balanced (after i moded mine that is and dialed it in). I know wish i would have kept it, so may be in a few years after the G goes back to the dealer, i'll buy a used lude and rebuild it from scratch as a track car (roll cage and all)
I do have to admit in the last 2 yrs i had it, i wanted it to be pearl white simply because i saw this picture. which is one reason i got the 05 g in white

I think for the most basic car with basic needs for the driver they hit it on the nose. Plus its the only car out tehre that doesnt look like anything else. UNIQUE
