Always off unless it's raining or the ground is wet/slushy.

I find that when I leave it on, it kicks in at strange times. For instance, when I make a turn out of a parking lot and accelerate medium/hard, sometimes it kicks on... annoying!

Sometimes i even forget that I turned it off already when i sat in my car and try to reach there and push the button again then i see there is not vdc off on the dash. Then i remember that I already turned it off when i started the car.

Get the VDC mod from KPTechnologies and you can stop pushing that button everytime you crank it up. I think it's like $40. I also have the window roll-up mod.

I haven't touched the VDC button since..... I can't remember when!

Always off unless weather is bad... If VDC is on and you are driving a 6MT, you will not have full power instantly and this has pissed me off several times passing, switching lanes etc. It's great when off, but can save your *** in bad weather.

Man you should have said the second I turn the key, I shut off the VDC.. cause it would rhyme.... Yeah...

Anyway, I leave it on except when I am autocrossing, or if I ever make it out to a track it would be off there too. I'd rather have it on incase the situation arises where it would save my *** than have it off so I can leave rubber on the pavement.

Its off most of the time. As soon as I consider the engine to be warm enough, its off.

Always on cept - AutoX, track, quick U-turn, quick launch, light rain cornering, sliding.

I've heard enough people here, Freshalloy & 350Z forums wrecking their cars when VDC could have saved them.

Once you learn to drive with it "off"....you'll wonder how you ever drove with it on. I have had the KP VDC mod since I went FI and it has been awesome. Its MUCH easier turning it on when needed (rain / highway) as opposed to turning it on every time I start the car.

For those who didn't know...KP develops little electronics that make our cars that much more enjoyable. Check out the thread on the FGC which lists them all and they are currently on sale. There are some other cool modules you will probably want....

Unless it's raining, turning the VDC off is part of starting the car
