scratched wheel kind of makes you wish you weren't so lazy huh?

sorry to hear about the squirrel, sounds like that story of the Acura RSX that sucked a rattlesnake into the pulleys and completely ruined the motor.

see if you were not lazy this would have never happend. And they squriel would have not gone to squirel heaven.

If you live in the country, it's not unusual to find a mouse making a home in your engine bay. But a squirrel? That's a first.

I live in the hills in SoCal and occasionally will find rat droppings, empty peanut shells and etc...in little nooks by the block....not on my G though since its a$$ gets garaged...

Yeah, finally. I had to look at alldata first though. There is an adjuster / tensioner bolt under one of the pulleys. You have to get under the car to loosen it though. It's the smooth pulley btw. Hopefully this will help someone some day.

A friend of mine had a '94 Nissan pickup. Started it up one day and smelled something burning. Opened the hood and there were a bunch of palm seeds roasting on the engine. It looked like a squirrel must have decided to store them there.
