Splash guards

Do they work well? I've got chips on both sides of the doors (directly under the mirrors, about 5 inches from the bottom of the door) and I'm just wondering if splash guards would have prevented them. On that note, anyone selling CB guards?

I only had my car for about 2 months and they repaved my street here about 1 month ago. I can't say how well the splashguards work but I haven't seen any chips on the doors or rear bumber. I wanted a car with almost nothing install so I can do whatever mod later and know I didn't waste my money on useless options. That being said, the only options that was on my car was sunroof (I kinda like it now), trunk mat (pretty uselss), and the splashguards. I was like "...$300 dollars for splash gaurds?!" but they didn't have one without so it's on my car. I think they do prevent splashes as I see streaks of mud on them and not the side sills or the rear bumber.

Ok, so that's a + for them. Anyone have extra CB guards for a coupe?

They work like a champ. ZERO splash-up on my sedan since adding the guards, and I think they look nice too.

Oh, yeah I also think they look nice, especially on the coupe (I have a 6MT '05 Coupe, diamond graphite). At first, I didn't even notice them until I saw some that didn't have them and decided they do look nice. They do make the car look beefier a bit (wider?).

Agree. Wider vice it's normal tall stance (sedan).
