Aluminum Pedals?
Re: Aluminum Pedals?
I also prefer the look of the Nissan alum. pedals. A note of warning regarding strictlyz: they do not provide the gas pedal clip with their kits - even though upfront they will tell you all parts are included (until you call back to ask why the clip is missing).
Re: Aluminum Pedals?
And finally, you can checkout www.nissanparts.cc. They have the parts for the cheapest I've seen ($80 shipped for the 6MT). And they also have the infamous accelerator bushing.
The only issue is that you need to enter the part numbers manually (there is no kit). Do a Search for "Aluminum Pedals" and there are various threads with the part numbers.
Good luck.

Re: Aluminum Pedals?
I also ordered from strictlyz and received them last night with no issues except they don't give you the gas pedal clip. They say to cut it off the OEM pedal to use on the new pedal. I hope this works ok.
Re: Aluminum Pedals?
Enough with throwing around the R-word over every little thing. I agree that the exposed screwheads ruin the look of those other pedals. I'm not big on the logos either. But if you want to say they look bad or cheap, just say so. Not every bad or cheap looking modification makes the buyer someone who wants to be a "ricer." It's not like the more OEM-like pedals that Grubbs sells are doing anything for the car but looking cool and shiny.
That said, why didn't they just leave some room to fill in the screwheads with caps? For $80 they can't give you some caps? That would improve the look alot (especially on the small pedals), though it still wouldn't be as nice as the smooth surface of the Grubbs pedals in my opinion.

Re: Aluminum Pedals?
Dear dgbos:
Be very careful removing the old gas pedal - the clip is easy to damage when prying it off. I was not happy that the strictlyz kit did not include all parts (i.e. the clip) to do the job..
I went to an Infiniti Dealer and bought the clip. I'm glad I did, it slipped right on. I saw no point in cutting up the old gas pedal to get the part, plus, like I said, in the process of prying off the old gas pedal, the old clip can get a little chewed up (its plastic). Then striclyz expects you to cut it off and try to use it? They should have included all the parts to do the job right in the first place.

Re: Aluminum Pedals?
Re: Clip Part Number - see the FAQ & DIY Forum on this board, look at the Alum. Pedal Install post. It has pictures of all of the parts and you can click on the picture to enlarge it to see the part number(s). If you buy the kit from Grubbs I believe it includes everything. It was stricklyz that didn't provide the clip; and it is hard to find just the clip later at most Infiniti or Nissan Dealers.
Good Luck
